Beyonce Sings as Barack and Michelle Obama Dance Their First Dance as President and First Lady at Inaugural Ball

I've always loved the song "At Last" by Etta James, and Beyonce sings it for President and Michelle Obama so beautifully and emotionally.

And in her interview afterwards, she speaks about how overwhelmed and excited she is to be a part of the inauguration celebration, and some of her feelings about President Obama. I say Right On, Beyonce! I second that emotion!

President Barack Obama's Inaugural Address

OBAMA: My fellow citizens:
I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.
Forty-four Americans have now taken the presidential oath. The words have been spoken during rising tides of prosperity and the still waters of peace. Yet, every so often the oath is taken amidst gathering clouds and raging storms. At these moments, America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because we the people have remained faithful to the ideals of our forebears, and true to our founding documents.
So it has been. So it must be with this generation of Americans.
That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.
These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable but no less profound is a sapping of confidence across our land — a nagging fear that America's decline is inevitable, and that the next generation must lower its sights.

US concentration camps..

Thinking ok i have been doing a little research to find out there is over 600 fully
operational ready to go concentration camps in the u.s. they are guarded
and manned 24 hours a day,but for what? the largest is in alaska that can
handle up to 2 million people, this is scary shit people and myself would
like to know why they are here ready for use,why so many and most are out
west,FEMA has controll over these in the event they need to claim marshal
law from disasters etc..but we all know FEMA is not really our friends, can
they just decide one day its in our best interest to be detained? what
would you do if you seen your neighbor being took away, would you just watch
in disbelief or fight for your freedom and theirs? why are these camps so
isolated that most know nothing of them? i for one demand an explanation
about these camps and their intended use and everyone reading this should
be as well..if you want to know more just google up us concentration camps
and you might be amazed what you see...but who knows whats really true or
whats false..? just drop a line to let others know how you feel about these
so called camps...peace...

Americans and the Economy: Angry Feelings and Fear Exceed the Terrorism Risk

In the first three days of the country's economic meltdown that began Sept. 29, 81 percent of Americans surveyed in a national poll agreed or strongly agreed that the financial crisis "poses a greater threat to the quality of my life than does the threat of terrorism." And researchers found little trust in the government and even less in business leaders. On a personal level, 41percent of the 802 respondents were very angry about the current financial challenges and 32 percent were moderately angry. Respondents were similarly fearful, worried, and sad.
