8/29/05 - I lost almost everything (90%). I sat in my hotel room and realized these are my only belongings in the world. I was alive,so were my dogs and partner.I lost many friends.

I do not need anyone to call me to remind me. I try to stay a hermit in bed watching movies,so that I do not get exposed to the "remeberance celebrations". I DO NOT WANT TO CELEBRATE ;,DAMN IT!!!

I had my malfunctioning spinal cord stimulator battery surgically replaced (for back pain.).
The surgery was excruciating,, but the new battery rocks!!.
The remote that controls the stimulation has malfuctioned.
The new controller arrived last week, but the co. tech has to reprogram it to decrease my pain next week.
The healing thoughts will be appreciated long after my appt.

The last dream I had before I woke up today started in our living room, or a room very similar to it. Rebecca was asleep on the couch. Ariel was sitting next to her, and I noticed suddenly that Ariel (our white, deaf cat) was POINTING at the ceiling, in the corner. I said, “Oh my god, Ariel is pointing!” Rebecca barely stirred. I looked up at the ceiling where she was pointing, which was a spot where the ceiling's drywall was missing (construction?), and the AC ducts were exposed.

I spent a wonderful time in Ky despite an unrealistic need for sleep and my spinal stimulator occasionally shocking me (the original shock almost caused me to pass out, the rest were more like a live wire touching my butt and leeft leg without warning).

I prevailed during my trip. Then returned to LA.
