Sitting on a Toilet at a Party

Can we say, “awkward?” Actually, I was mostly comfortable in this dream situation. First, my waking day: yesterday was Thanksgiving. Becca and I spent the day with our families. I was exhausted the whole time, as I had worked on the website all night and morning before we left. I went to sleep soon after we got home.

I dreamed that I was at a party. It took place in an old run-down house. At one point, I realized that I needed to use the bathroom, so I went to look for it. I went in, and saw that there were actually two tiny bathrooms right next to each other that originally had opened into two separate areas of the house, but were now connected because they tore down the wall that was between them. The toilets were only a couple of feet from each other.

I sat down on one, and was trying to pull the door next to me closed. It had a broken latch. A beautiful girl, mid 20s, came in from the other door, which was also broken. I knew her. She was a pretty good friend of mine. She laughed, pulled down her pants, and sat down next to me. I had just been about to take a shit when she came in, so I immediately decided to wait until she was done and gone to resume. She farted. I laughed at that, and at the absurdity of the whole situation. She had a wry, joking smile on her face and said, “Oh don't mind me. I might lift my ass and fart occasionally.” On cue, she lifted her ass a few inches off the toilet, pointed it in my direction, and farted again. We were both smiling and laughing the whole time, due to the utter wackiness of the fact that we were friends of the opposite sex being put in such a bizarre situation, and the ease with which we were both handling it.

She peed, then got up and pulled her pants up. Suddenly there was a line of guys forming at the door she came in, all wanting to use the bathroom. Then Becca was there among them. I asked her if she was having fun, and she said, “All of these guys want a girl like that,” pointing at the girl who had just been sitting next to me. I said, “Believe me, every one of these guys would love to spend a night with you.” Then I woke up.
