I chose beach...

my first instinct was "major city," but it seemed like that one implies living directly within a dense city area. I like living near a major city, like in the suburbs, and in many places, such as california, you could easily live near a beach and near a major city, wihin being directly in or on either one. Really, I'd be happy in any of the locations you mentioned, but beach and major city are my favorites
