Yeah, it really seems like something that should have been thought of a long time ago. It's one of those things that we tend to assume they've already tried, but maybe no one actually ever thought of it till now. Or maybe they didn't have a full enough understanding of those systems before, to make it work.

Another awesome thing about it is that it's a culmination of many human advancements, including the understanding of biology, mechanical systems, medical technologies, and even spirituality. If this is successful, cancer patients will literally be borrowing from the healing abilities of others' bodies.
